It's a shame that Sarros and Mazanec can't trade places. No disrespect to Mazanec, but Sarros is the future and getting time with Pekka can't hurt his development. I cant help but think that Sarros under Mitch would be ideal, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

I agree with everything in this post. I wish Sarros could stay up and do some split time with Pekka. And only more than that I wish Mitch was here to work with him. That kid settled in after that first goal and looked great.

After rewatching the game, I noticed that he was just a smidge late in some reactions. That slight delay resulted in the puck trickling around the blue paint. What i did see was great positioning...mostly, if you look closely the Bonino glove save, he made himself small. Also, the shoulder save on Hornquist is a great example of using your better position and body, while Pekka, with his size would push it more toward the corner, or cover the rebound with his glove against his body. Sarro's positioning is perhaps better than Pekka's (see the Horndog save during the PP), but he just needs to execute some of the little tings just a smidge faster...that comfort, of knowing what to do in various situations, when you have time and don't, only can come with experience at the NHL level. I'm not yet sold, but great speed laterally and to the butterfly and instincts.

I'm looking for tickets (3) for Saturday Nov 4th game. I know season ticket holders have helped me before (Blueline), but don't know if that's still an option.

I can still help and will be glad to do so but you also might want to try the NHL Ticket Exchange feature at the Preds site (under the Tickets tab) as you can sometimes find good seats there. (By the way, the game is on the 5th not the 4th.)

Or, if you want me to get tix, send an email if you still have my address or send a PM via HockeyBuzz and we'll go from there.
